ACHIEVA has a long history of providing supports and programs to adults with disabilities. Founded in 1951, ACHIEVA has grown and expanded its services to meet the individual needs of its customers. ACHIEVA strives to be there in support of our families and to enable those with disabilities to be fully included in the community. Services provided by ACHIEVA allow adults with disabilities to live their lives according to their personal goals.
• Residential and Community Living Options: ACHIEVA provides state-of-the-art community living options for adults with disabilities. Options include residential homes, apartment living, and family living arrangements.
• Vocational Support: Job training, coaching, and placement support is available to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their employment goals, encouraging them to enjoy the self-esteem associated with earning a paycheck.
• Camp and Leisure Programs: Many options exist to improve the quality of life and to develop new skills through enjoyable day trips and week long, sleepover camp experiences.
• Respite and Home Care: ACHIEVA’s most requested service is respite care. Short-term and overnight respite care is available for families caring for a loved one with disabilities. Home Care is also available to assist families and continuous caregivers.
•Family Support: Need advice and/or information? ACHIEVA is here to help. Experienced professionals can address a variety of topics to help educate self-advocates, families, and other service providers.
•Trust and Financial Planning Services: ACHIEVA Family Trust continues to be a leader in providing financial and estate planning services for individuals with disabilities and their families.
