Every year ACHIEVA must raise more than $2 million to support programs and services for individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families.  This includes raising funds to pay for programs when families don’t qualify for other assistance.  We also use these funds to create or expand new programs that benefit our consumers.  ACHIEVA has a long history of creating new programs for people with disabilities.  These programs have been replicated throughout Pennsylvania, the United States, and beyond.

ACHIEVA has a solid reputation for being a good steward of your gift. ACHIEVA’s overhead efficiency ratio is less than half the national average. We have been noted as being a well managed nonprofit organization and a leader in our field. Many of ACHIEVA’s programs were initially funded through private gifts to pilot concepts while proving to permanent funding sources the positive outcomes that exist.
