Achieva Announces Planned Retirement of Gary Horner, Executive Vice President and CFO

Achieva, one of Pennsylvania’s largest providers of services for children and adults with disabilities and their families, announced the retirement plans of Gary K. Horner, an esteemed leader with a nearly three-decade tenure at the organization.

As the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Achieva, Gary has been instrumental in Achieva’s revenue growth, geographic reach, and financial strength and stability over the years, having shepherded numerous affiliations and mergers between Achieva and other disability service organizations, as well as navigating the perennial challenges of complicated and insufficient financial reimbursements from state government. Gary’s distinguished career spans over 43 years in the government and non-profit sectors. Throughout his career, Mr. Horner has served as an executive and manager, leveraging his expertise to make a significant impact on the organizations he has been a part of. “It has been an honor to support and participate in fulfilling Achieva’s mission and programs over the years,” said Gary.
