Jeff Ruder is the founder and principal of Ruder Law. Since 2006, Jeff has focused his practice on advocating for the rights of disabled children in public schools. He is also a frequent speaker to professional and parent groups regarding the rights of students with disabilities.

Update to Federal Guidance on Discipline with McAndrews Law
Virtual meeting on Tuesday, September 22, 2022, from 6:30 - 8 p.m.
In July 2022, the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights (OCR) and Office of Special Education Programs (OSEP) issued guidance on behavior support and discipline of students with disabilities. Attendees will learn how to use this guidance to advocate for appropriate practices with respect to disciplining of students with disabilities.

Nancy Potter is an attorney with McAndrews Law Offices, P.C. in Pittsburgh. She provides legal representation to students and families in all major areas of education advocacy.
