Join the Pennsylvania Department of Aging and the Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging to learn about the Aging Our Way, PA, Pennsylvania’s 10-year strategic plan to transform the infrastructure and supports for older adults we age.
 
This presentation will introduce the PA CareKit, a collection of tools, information, and support to help caregivers learn more, plan ahead, or catch their breath. PA CareKit is personal, practical, and ready for all kinds of caregivers.  Webinar participants will get to see how this toolkit aimed at family caregivers can help in a variety of caregiving situations.
 
In addition, the Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging will share information about the Caregiver Support Program, a well as other resources for individuals caring for an older loved one.  The Caregiver Support Program provides cash reimbursement to eligible caregivers for consumable goods like adult briefs and protein drinks, as well as respite and home modifications.  Webinar participants will better understand who is eligible for this program and how to get registered.
