Future Planning Conference 2021 - Focus on the Future
This day-long virtual conference was dedicated to future planning for people with disabilities. The purpose of the conference is to educate and inform families, professionals and self advocates about the importance of Future Planning for Individuals with Disabilities. Topics will include: Planning for the Future with Special Needs Trusts and ABLE Accounts, Understanding Government Benefits, Decision Making, and Housing Options. There was also a family panel to discuss their experiences with future planning.

An individual with a disability may participate in any number of local, state, or federal benefit programs. Understanding those and the benefits of setting up a trust is vital for maintaining benefits
