Pittsburgh Adaptive Recreation Expo

The Kingsley Association and PMR Adaptive Sports and Recreation is inviting community members of all abilities to the Pittsburgh Adaptive Recreation Expo.

April 27, 2024 | 12 - 4 p.m.

Kingsley Association 6435 Frankstown Ave. Pittsburgh, PA 15206.

The expo will provoke an engaging opportunity for people with disabilities, families, friends, healthcare professionals, and local advocacy partners to come together, engage in the community, spark new partnerships, and inspire new opportunities for adaptive recreation in Pittsburgh. In addition, community members and students can connect with local organizations and learn about volunteer opportunities.

During the event, individuals with disabilities and their families can learn more about a variety of local programs and resources, including adaptive sports and recreation, innovation & technology, home health, caregiver support, and interactive adaptive equipment demonstrations.

Organizations participating in the event include: Kingsley Association, PMR Adaptive Sports and Recreation, Dan McCoy Fitness, Special Olympics, Sideaht Pickleball, Case Specific Nutrition, Community Living and Support Services (CLASS), Rebuild Better Together, Achieva, Ryan Shazier Fund for Spinal Rehabilitation, Steelwheelers Hand Cycling, Three Rivers Adaptive Sports, Pittsburgh Fitness Project, Venture Outdoors, Human Engineering Research Laboratories( HERL), Accessible Hunter.
